A Pine Bluff woman was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly threatened the dean of students at Lighthouse Academy school during a telephone conversation.

When Police Detective Tamina Smith questioned Kisha Carruth, 44, about the incident, Carruth said she did not threaten anyone at the school.

During a court hearing Thursday, Deputy Prosecutor Jay Gerard described what the dean of students told police.

Carruth told Detective Smith that she had called the school and got upset at the “tone of the male’s voice.”

At Gerard’s request, Carruth was released on her own recognizance and ordered to have no contact with the victim until the case is settled.
