A reported domestic disturbance Saturday resulted in the arrest of a woman who allegedly hit her boyfriend and threatened to kill him.

During a court hearing Tuesday, Erica Williams, 28, was taken into custody after police were sent to an address on West 17th Avenue, Deputy Prosecutor Beth Carson said.

Carson then explained what the police found when they arrived.

Carson said that because Williams was pregnant, the boyfriend was charged with second-degree domestic battery.

Jefferson County District Judge Kim Bridgforth set a $10,000 bond for Williams after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge her with third-degree domestic battery and terroristic threatening.  She was ordered to have no contact with the victim and told to return to court on October 27.
