Pine Bluff Detectives have
previously arrested 21 year old Kavon Bledsoe in connection with the March 7 homicide. Detectives are looking for three more suspects in this double homicide. The detectives are looking for 17 year old Dashon Cobbs Jr., 18 year old Quentine Lowe, and 20 year old Kenon Smith.

Cobbs is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 175 lbs.  Lowe is about 6’3″ tall and weighs around 180 lbs.  Smith is about 5’11” tall and weighs around 140 lbs.  All three suspects are from Pine Bluff.  All three are wanted for 2 counts of Capital Murder, 2 counts of Battery 1st Degree, 1 count of Terroristic Act, and one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence.

UPDATE 10:35 a.m.

Pine Bluff Detectives have arrested 21 year old Kavon Bledsoe in connection with last night’s double homicide.

Bledsoe has been booked on two counts of Capital Murder, two counts of Battery in the 1st Degree, one count of Terroristic act, and one count of Tampering with Evidence.  

Detectives are still looking for at least three more suspects in this homicide.

UPDATE 12:40 a.m.:

On Tuesday just before 9:00 PM, Officers of the Pine Bluff Police Department responded to the Sunset Village Apartments at 2611 W. 34th for a reported shooting in the parking lot.

On arrival, Officers located three people in a grey car in the parking lot near 34th St. One female in the vehicle had been shot and was transported by EASi Ambulance Service to Jefferson Regional Medical Center.  Her condition is unknown at the time of this release.  

Two other people who had been shot were located in the back seat of the vehicle.  

Both of victims in the back seat of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.  

Another male who fled the scene was located about a block away. This male suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

One of the murder victims is a 16 year old male juvenile. His identity will not be released due to his age.

The other murder victim has been identified as 18 year old female, Asharray Thomas, both from Pine Bluff.  

Both murder victims will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory for autopsy to establish official cause and manner of death.  

This is the 5th and 6th homicides of 2023 in Pine Bluff.

There is no suspect information known to the public information office at this time.

ORIGINAL STORY:

The Pine Bluff Police Department is in the early stages of an investigation into a shooting in the area of 34th Avenue and Old Warren Road.

Pine Bluff Police Public Information Officer Lt. David DeFoor told Deltaplex News that four people were shot. Two of the four are deceased, to include a juvenile.

Originally Deltaplex News was told there were two difference shooting scenes, but DeFoor said one victim ran to a different location. Additionally, the second survivor has serious injuries and was taken to a different hospital by medflight.
