The Pine Bluff Police Department is currently investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred in the 4600 block of Dollarway Road.
On November 9, 2024, at around 5:14 a.m., officers responded to a report of a collision involving a truck and a pedestrian.
Upon their arrival, they discovered the pedestrian unresponsive on the ground. Unfortunately, the pedestrian was later pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
The victim’s name is being withheld until their next of kin has been notified.
The driver of the pick-up truck stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the authorities.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation as officers seek to identify any contributing factors.
