Assistant Pine Bluff Police Chief Kelvin Hadley on Friday told members of the City Council’s Public Safety Committee that he needs help in getting two supervisory positions filled.
Hadley said the two positions carry the rank of Sergeant and the department has already gone through the promotion process and an eligibility list has been established. He went on to say that there are currently two people remaining on that list who are waiting to be promoted.
Hadley told the committee that there are some positions within the department that could wait, for example, sergeant positions in the service department, and in fact has moved sergeants from that division to patrol to beef up supervision on the street
