The Pine Bluff Police Department is in the early stages of a homicide investigation.
Just before 8:00 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 400 block of 13th Ave in reference to a shooting.
Upon their arrival, officers found an adult male on the ground in front of the residence who was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity is known, however, it is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin.
The Pine Bluff Police Department is asking anyone with information to please contact the Detective Division at 870-730-2090 or dispatch at 870-541-5300.
The body will be taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy to determine the official cause and manner of death.
This is the 26th homicide for Pine Bluff in 2021.
