The Pine Bluff Police Department is investigating a shooting that has left one person dead.  

Shortly before 11 p.m. Monday night officers responded to 4209 W. 12th in reference to a shooting.

When officers arrived,they found a male later identified as 48-year-old Randy Wilson with gunshot wounds to his upper body.  Wilson was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center where he died from his injuries.

The investigation is in the early stages and the motive of this homicide is still under investigation.

The body will be taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy to determine the official cause and manner of death.

This is the 19th homicide for Pine Bluff in 2022.
