Detectives with the Pine Bluff Police Department are in the early stages of a shooting investigation that left one person dead and another injured.
At about 9:45 p.m. officers responded to 1020 S Linden in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival they found a deceased adult male in an apartment. Another adult victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
This is the first homicide of 2022 for Pine Bluff.
Names are being withheld at this time pending the notification of next of kin.
