Pine Bluff Police Department hosts annual Easter Egg Hunt as Easter Hop

The Pine Bluff Police Department partnered with Topps Inc to host their annual Easter Egg hunt as an Easter Hop at the old Plaza Hotel at  2 Convention Center Plaza Thursday afternoon from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. According to one of the event coordinators Deputy Chief Shirley Warrior, due to the restrictions of COVID-19, they could not host the Easter egg hunt but were able to create a drive-thru, Easter Hop, for kids in the community with the Easter Bunny to collect easter baskets, treats, along with prizes for the parents as well. 

Deputy Chief Warrior further explained Thursday’s event,

Deputy Chief Warrior went on to express how the department makes it their priority to connect with the youth of the community,

The department is expecting a total of at least 500 cars to participate in Thursday’s drive-thru event.
