Pine Bluff has had a number of homicides this year, many of them involving multiple suspects.
Police have made arrests in many of those homicides and on Thursday, Police Chief Denise Richardson was a guest on the Oldies 1013 morning show where host Greg Horne told her the detectives working those cases had done a good job.
Richardson was also asked if the department was getting help from other law enforcement agencies such as the FBI, DEA and the ATF, comparable to what is being done in Little Rock with the Get Rock task force and she answered this way.
She said it was important to consider a number of different factors when considering an operation like the one that is currently planned and that will affect the entire community.
