Pine Bluff Parks & Rec to partner with Arkansas Game & Fish for fishing events

Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation, in cooperation with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission is planning several events including a major fishing tournament.

Parks and Recreation Director Sam Glover appeared on the Oldies 101.3 morning show Thursday and talked about the tournament.

Glover went on to say that he and the game and fish commission have also worked on another event for about two years.

He said the tags will be provided by game and fish and will be worth between $1 and $500 to $1,000.

Also on May 14 Glover said there will be a “women in Fishing” event at MLK Park that he described as a “Fishing 101” put on by game and fish.
