Next week begins a nearly full month of activities to bring in the Holiday season and on Wednesday, Pine Bluff Parks and Recreation Director Sam Glover appeared on the Oldies 10113 morning show to discuss what’s ahead.

Glover said everything has to be lined up and working properly for the light show to be a quality event.

At the end of the week, Glover said it will be time for Mistletoe Magic.

Asked what will be included, Glover said there will be a petting zoo, hayrides, pictures with Santa, retail vendors, food trucks, and more. He said the event will start at 4 p.m. at City Hall on Sunday, Nov. 27.  and will continue until the lighting of the City of Pine Bluff Christmas Tee at 6 p.m.

He went on to explain that because of the planned work on 601 Main Plaza, the decision was made to move the City Christmas tree to the Civic Center complex.
