A 32-year-old Pine Bluff man was shot to death Tuesday afternoon in the central part of the city.

Police Lt. David De Foor identified the victim as Albert King III, who was found with a single gunshot wound when police responded to a reported shooting at 25th Avenue and Poplar Street at 12:45 p.m.

De Foor said King was taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital then to a Little Rock hospital by med-flight and was pronounced dead at 2:45 p.m.

No suspects have been identified as yet and no motive for the shooting established.

This was the 26th homicide of the year inside the Pine Bluff city limits.
