A Pine Bluff man was killed in a one-vehicle accident on the north side of the city Friday night.
According to a preliminary report, Eugene Spears, 43, was northbound on North Magnolia Street when the 2012 Chevrolet Traverse veered off the roadway and went into the ravine. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at North Magnolia and Whiteside Streets at 7:10 p.m. and the death was the 43rd so far this year on the state’s highways.
