A Pine Bluff man was killed in a Tuesday automobile accident in Pulaski County on I-530 according to the Arkansas State Police.
A report from the ASP says that 42-year-old Joshua Eli Waschalk was traveling south on I-530 in a 2018 Mazda near the Saline County line at mile marker 9 when he veered off of the roadway and onto the grassy median before traveling down an embankment into a creek.
Waschalk was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the report.
The report states that the weather was clear and road conditions were dry at the time of the accident.
Waschalk’s death is the fourth reported death on Arkansas highways in 2022.
