A $2,500 bond was set Thursday for a Pine Bluff man accused of threatening a law enforcement officer on Tuesday.

Pine Bluff District Judge John Kearney set the bond after ruling prosecutors have probable cause to charge Bryce Clark, 30, with first-degree terroristic threatening.

During the court hearing, Deputy Prosecutor Jill Reed described the circumstances leading up to the arrest.

Reed said when Clark was being taken to the adult detention center, he began hitting his head on the glass separating the passenger seat and driver’s seat of the police car. Officers were concerned that Clark might be under the influence of a controlled substance and took him to Jefferson Regional Hospital where he refused treatment.

Clark was not interviewed because of his condition.
