In Connection to Murder of Lonnie Urquhart
Marquanthony Sullivan, 26, has been taken into custody and is currently being held in the Jackson County Detention Center in Kansas City, Missouri, according to Pine Bluff Police Officer Richard Wegner.
Sullivan has been wanted since the March 14, 2018 shooting death of 37-year-old Lonnie Urquhart at 2920 South Fir Street in Pine Bluff, Officer Wegner said in a news release.
Shortly before 12:30 p.m. on that day, officers responded to a shooting at the apartment complex and found Urquhart with multiple gunshot wounds. Urquhart died of his wounds while in surgery a short time later. Before passing, both the victim and witnesses identified Sullivan as the suspect. A warrant was later issued for his arrest.
Earlier this week, agents from the U.S. Marshal’s Service located and arrested Sullivan in Missouri. He will be held until extradited back to Arkansas, Officer Wegner said.
