The Arkansas Activities Association awarded Pine Bluff with the Class 5A state basketball tournament on Tuesday.
The tournament, which features boys and girls action, will be held from February 28-March 4 at the Pine Bluff Convention Center. Pine Bluff beat out Lake Hamilton and Greenwood for the Class 5A tournament.
Three other Deltaplex area sites will host regional action, as Warren will host the 4A South Regional, Drew Central will host the Class 3A Region 4, and Fordyce will host the 2A South Regional tournaments.
