The Pine Bluff Community Center was scheduled to open earlier this month but due to COVID-19 there were shipping delays with equipment for the center and the date was moved to Saturday, March 27th at 1 P.M.
The director Samuel Gllover expressed that Parks and Recreations wanted to ensure everything was in place so that their programming maximizes the experience for the youth.
The opening will include a ribbon cutting display, public walkthrough, and registration for the center with plans to begin their first youth camp program this summer.
The community can also register for the center over the phone with the main Parks and Recreations office by contacting 870-536-0920.
