The Pine Bluff Arsenal Compatible Use Study is a land use and compatibility planning effort that brings together the City of White Hall, the City of Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, the Southeast Arkansas Regional Planning Commission, residents, property owners, Pine Bluff Arsenal, and other regional, state, and federal agencies and organizations, to identify and address compatibility issues between Pine Bluff Arsenal and the surrounding community that impact quality of life and military operations. Through this process, stakeholders will identify and review existing and potential compatibility issues from a comprehensive a set of 26 compatibility factors, such as communication, air quality, natural resources, land use, and safety. The Compatible Use Study will lead to a policy framework and implementation measures to support compatible growth, economic vitality and healthy environments while sustaining the military mission now and into the future.

Please join us to learn more about the Compatible Use Study, to see the results of the community questionnaire that have been received so far, and to review the compatibility issues that have been identified. Your input is essential to develop a plan that is responsive to local needs. There will be an opportunity during the workshop to ask questions and provide input on the compatibility issues.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis and to adhere to guidance from the CDC to minimize public gatherings, the public workshop will be held virtually via Zoom on two separate nights. Please choose the date that is most convenient for you. Recordings of the workshops will be uploaded to the project website at www.pbarsenalstudy.com.
