In order to graduate from high school, all students around the state must complete community service between grades 9 and 12.
On the Oldies 1013 Morning Show last week, Pia Woods with Jefferson County 4-H talked about that requirement with host Greg Horne saying that parenting 101 requires keeping kids busy and 4-H is one way to do that.
Hat community service requirement came from Governor Sanders to the State Department of Education.
Woods went on to talk about other projects that are planned.
