An unknown woman was killed Thursday when she was struck by a vehicle on Interstate 530 in Pulaski County.
According to a preliminary report, the woman ran out into the lane of traffic and was struck by a 2019 Nissan that was northbound at the time. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
The accident occurred at the three-mile marker at 4:20 p.m. and it was raining at the time.
The death was the 106th so far this year on the state’s highways.
