A Pulaski County man was killed Sunday when he was hit by a vehicle while trying to cross Interstate 40.
According to a preliminary report, Craig Sailor, 63, of North Little Rock was attempting to cross the highway at mile marker 146 when he was hit by a 2021 Ford F-250 that was eastbound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident was reported at 6:10 a.m., and the death was the 529th so far this year on the state’s highways.
