Pine Bluff School District Superintendent Jennifer Barbaree talked about the results of a statewide test students in the district took last year at a meeting of the Pine Bluff School Board earlier this week.
She shared those results when she appeared on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show.
Barbaree said there has been a big focus on reading for the past couple of years.
Morning Show host Greg Horne said things appeared to be trending in the right direction but said things are not where they need to be.
Barbaree also talked about math scores statewide which she described as dismal.
