The Pine Bluff Detective Office is asking for assistance locating 42-year-old, Jeffery Ventress. Ventress is bald about 5’11” tall and 160 pounds.
Ventress is wanted in connection with a Terroristic Act and Possession of Firearms by Certain Person that occurred on December 8, 2024.
On December 8, 2024, Officers responded to 601 North Hutchinson (HR Food Mart) in reference to a someone being shot at. Upon arrived, a female victim, identified as Laquatia McDowell was transported to Jefferson Regional Medical Center for a panic attack.
The second victim identified as Terrance Tyler stated he drove McDowell to get a new tire when a vehicle blocked their path on the parking lot of HR Food Mart (601 North Hutchinson).
Tyler stated McDowell knew the vehicle (2008 Ford F150) and identified the driver as her ex-boyfriend Jeffery Ventress. Tyler stated McDowell told him to get away as soon as possible.
Tyler stated as he was maneuvering around Ventress’ vehicle, Ventress got out and pointed a handgun at them. Tyler stated as they drove away Ventress fired several rounds at them striking the vehicle.
