The Pine Bluff Police Department will be presenting a graduation for children who have successfully completed the police department’s “Police And Youth Camp” (P.A.Y. Camp) on Thursday July 11th at 6:00 p.m. The ceremony will be held at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.
The P.A.Y. Camp is a program that allows youths, while out for summer vacation, to participate in events under the guidance of police officers. It benefits the community by letting out younger citizens interact with law enforcement officers in a non enforcement capacity. At the same time the kids get to experience a variety of fun and games as well as classroom work designed to help them in life. All classes are geared toward pointing our young citizens toward becoming confident and capable young adults.
We are asking the media to please send a representative to the event so you can see the accomplishments these young men and women have achieved.
