PBPD hosts annual Domestic Violence Walk

The Pine Bluff Police Department hosted its 11th annual Domestic Violence Walk on Tuesday to shed light on domestic violence awareness and resources in the community that can help. There were several organizations present in support of informational tables including CASA Women’s Shelter, Future Builders Inc., Ambassadors of Christ, and G.Reat Nutrition amongst others at the Civic Center Lawn.

Deltaplex News was present at the event and spoke with the Chief of Police, Denise Richardson about the impact of domestic violence in Pine Bluff

Richardson went on to explain what she thinks needs to happen to bring change and the preventative goals on this matter for the department.
