The Pine Bluff Police Department is pleased to announce the placement of two public service kiosks within our community. These kiosks will enable your police department to get information out to the community quickly. They are linked to the internet and can be updated in real time to broadcast information ranging from announcements of upcoming events to threats to the public. They can alert the public to persons who are wanted and notify them when wanted persons are captured.
Although many people use social media there is still a portion of our citizens that do not use social media. These kiosks give the department an opportunity to reach those citizens as well.
In the near future one kiosk will be deployed in the Wal-Mart Supercenter and the other in Super 1 Foods at 28th and Hazel. We would like to thank the management teams of both locations for allowing us to set them up in their stores.
