Improving both the physical and mental health of Pine Bluff residents, both young and old is one of the major goals of the city’s Parks and Recreation Department.

On Thursday, Parks Director Samuel Glover and Athletic Director Vincent Tate were guests on the Oldies 1013 morning show and Tae explained that he is in charge of anything athletic.

Tate then explained a bit about pickleball.

Pickleball is played at the community center.

Glover also talked about the first of two summer camps that are going on at the community center and said thee are about 100 young people participating.
