A Prescott teenager was killed and a second injured in a one-vehicle accident in Nevada County Tuesday afternoon.
According to a preliminary report, Cavashia Young, 18, was a passenger on a 2012 Polaris Ranger that was northbound on Highway 371 when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned.
The drive of the ATV, identified as Storm Evans, 18, was injured and taken to Baptist Health Medical Center at Arkadelphia for treatment.
The accident was reported at 12:40 p.m. and the death was the 212th so far this year on the state’s highways.
