A construction accident at Watson Chapel High School has led to an emergency response.
Multiple law enforcement and emergency services responded to the scene, transporting one patient, according to Deltaplex News sources.
The Watson Chapel School District provided the following statement about the accident:
This morning, Watson Chapel School District was informed of an accident involving a Baldwin & Shell employee at the high school construction site. Emergency personnel responded promptly to provide assistance. We want to reassure our community that this incident occurred at the construction site and not at the current high school where students are located. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Thank you for your concern and support.
