PB Police Press release- Officers of the Pine Bluff Police were dispatched to 110 S. Larch in reference to a house fire on June 14, 2019 around 4:00 a.m. The Fire department was on scene and told the homeowner may possibly still be in the residence. After the fire was under control, firemen found 36 year old Chris Jones in the residence.
Jones’ body was sent to the State Crime Lab for an autopsy. It is now being investigated as a homicide. There is no suspect information at this time. The investigation is in the early stages and information may be released once it is available.
This is the 15th homicide for Pine Bluff. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Detective Division at 870-730-2090 or Dispatch at 870-541-5300. Also there is a reward of up to $10,000.00 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any suspect or suspects.
