New Watson Chapel School Superintendent Keith McGee made his first appearance on Oldies 1013 Monday and talked about his background, the on-going construction of the new high school, and the two or three things most important to him to help students in the district improve their test scores.
He was asked how do you go about doing that and answered this way.
Morning Show host Greg Horne told McGee that he had heard from a number of other people, including Pine Bluff School District Superintendent Jennifer Barbaree to start kids’ reading at the kindergarten or Pre-K levels.
Horne said that so much of kids’ education depends on parents and their involvement.
