Tom Rabb, 99
1925-2024

Tom Rabb, age 99 of Monticello, Arkansas, died Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Grand Manor Assisted Living in Monticello. He had been a resident there for several years. Previously, Tom's home was on Rabb Road in Monticello.

He was predeceased by his wife, Imogene Henderson Rabb; and daughter, Linda Kay Rabb. Tom was a decorated World War II combat veteran who served 3 years in the European Theater. His Tank Unit fought under General George Patton. He was honorably discharged as a Sergeant with the United States Army.

Tom retired from Burlington Industries as a Tool Maker/Machinist. He later was a retired cattle farmer, builder, and blacksmith. He restored and ran a grist milling service for his neighbors' crops.

Tom was an avid hunter who enjoyed working on guns as well. He was a Master Mason for over 60 years with Eureka Lodge of Monticello.

Tom was born August 19, 1925, on Rabb Road in Drew County, AR to the late Tom Watson Rabb and Jewel Chrystal Calhoun Rabb. He was also predeceased by six brothers, Colby, Grover, Roth, Lester, Joe and Ibb Rabb; and two sisters, Katie Raines & Camille Berryman. Tom is survived by his sister, Janie Rabb Fuller and husband Larry of Haymarket, Virginia; along with numerous nieces & nephews.

Graveside services with military honors will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Rose Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery with Rev Alex Brown officiating. The family wishes to thank Grand Manor, Arkansas Hospice, & especially the private duty nurses, all who provided professional & loving care.
