Sheryl Yvonne Boyd Powell 66 of Dumas, Arkansas passed away October 31, 2024. Born in Dermott, Arkansas on August 22, 1958, to the late Tommy Boyd and Peggy Dang Gilbert. Her parents and daughter Amy Powell, brother Jeffery Boyd, all preceded her in death.
Sheryl was Baptist by faith, homemaker, loving wife and mother.
Survivors are husband Gary Powell of Dumas, Arkansas and two daughters April Webb and Heather Smith both of Dumas, Arkansas, brother Mark Boyd of Oklahoma and two sisters Regina Williams of Tillar, Arkansas and Tina Madja of Indiana, four grandchildren Haylee, Aiyon, Olivia and Taliya.
Memorial service 2 pm, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Hale officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
