Russell Crews, 66 of Star City, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024 at his home. He was born February 11, 1958 in Memphis, TN to the late John Thomas and Doris Mullins Crews. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired electrician for Elliott Electric in Benton. He loved to hunt, fish, was an avid outdoorsman, and loved to camp on the White River and Norfork Lake.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Paula Crews.
Survivors include two sons, Taylor Crews of Star City and David (Ariana) Crews of Alexander; a brother, Alan Crews of Foly, MO; three sisters, Kathryn Holtz of Opelousas, LA, Marcia Shannon of Gainesville, TX, and Jan Golden of Clarksville; and one grandchild, Thatcher Crews.
Funeral services are 11:00AM Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Brad Henley officiating. Visitation is 10:00-11:00AM Saturday at the funeral home.
