Rufus Billy “Bill” Baggett, Sr age 76 of Warren, AR died Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR.
He was born May 20th, 1948 in Little Rock, AR a son of the late Samuel Bruce Baggett, Sr and Willie Mae Edwards Baggett.
Bill was owner and operator of Baggett Transport for decades, where he hauled mostly cattle and later wood products. He was a 1967 graduate of Warren public schools and a Christian. Also preceding him in death was a brother Samuel Bruce Baggett Jr, and a sister infant Mary Jane Baggett.
Surviving is his wife, Cathey Gorman Baggett whom he married in 1968,
Sons, Billy Baggett Jr, Hermitage, AR and Shane Baggett and spouse Sarah, Hermitage, AR. Sallie Estrada and spouse Filo, Elpaso, AR and Lucy Helton and spouse Kip, Warren, AR. A brother Robert Baggett, Warren, AR and a sister Sadie Cherry, Chicota, Tx. 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services 2:00PM Monday, September 16th,2024 at Frazer’s Chapel. Burial in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
Visitation 1:30PM till service time on Monday.
