Mary Kay Joslin, 84
1940-2024

Mary Kathryn Joslin, 84, of Sheridan, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2024. She was born May 31, 1940, in Los Angeles, California. She was a retired elementary educator working in the Conway School District for her entire teaching career. Mary Kay, as she was known by many, faithfully served as a pastor’s wife through the ministry of her late husband, Rev. David A. Joslin, throughout Free Will Baptist churches in Arkansas and Tennessee. Her main love was for her family. Her kids and grandkids were her life.

A resident of Rosebud (White County) during her childhood, Mary Joslin was the daughter of the late Vernon Kelley and Vernie Cooper Kelley. She is survived by her son, David A. Joslin, Jr. and wife Patricia of Millsboro, Delaware; a daughter, Kelli Joslin Cypert and husband Steve of Sheridan, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Ashley Joslin Bethea of Rosebud, Arkansas, Mitch Joslin of Laurel, Maryland, Paige Joslin of Millsboro, Delaware, Tom Cypert and wife Alissa, and Kristen Cypert Turner and husband Zac of Sheridan, Arkansas; and eight great-grandchildren David Bethea; JoyBeth, Dave, Tommy and Paul Cypert; Hope, Kelley Grace and Lily Turner.

Graveside services will be conducted at Mount Bethel Cemetery in Rosebud, Arkansas on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. with Bro. Steve Cypert officiating.
