1962-2024
Mae “Annette” Grantham, age 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 21, 2024. She was born March 15, 1962, in DeWitt, and was a graduate of Gillett High School. Annette loved spending time with her family and being the best “Nettie” to her grandchildren. Her fun personality and extraordinary sense of humor brought laughter and joy to everyone around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Annette is survived by her lifelong best friend and husband Jim Grantham; daughter Stacey McEntire (Nolan) of Heber Springs, son Dex Grantham (Karley) of Greenbrier, and daughter Megan Henderson (Hunter) of Stuttgart; seven grandchildren, James, Cameron, and Liam McEntire (Stacey), William and Benjamin Grantham (Dex), and Emmitt and Avery Henderson (Megan). She is also survived by her two sisters Donna Wood of Ward and Teresa Fisher of DeWitt and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, at 1:00 pm, with the service following at 2:00 pm at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Tichnor. Burial will follow at Bonners Chapel Cemetery.
