Lance Allen Ware of Sheridan, AR was born March 4, 1970, in Little Rock, AR to Mary Love and the late Travis Ware Lance passed away Wednesday August 28, 2024, at his home at the age of 54.
Lance was a graduate of Sheridan High School class of 1988 and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Navy for 4 years stationed aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. He spent most of his life working in the trucking industry both as a driver and dispatcher. Lance never met a stranger, he was very fun loving, outgoing, kindhearted and loved to talk with people any chance he could whether he knew them or not. He was also an avid enjoyer of time spent on or off road whether it was on a 4-wheeler, his motorcycle or even just riding around in his pickup. He also loved his fur babies Boss B Ware and Luna Bell Ware; he treated them and all dogs he’s had as his own kids. Above all he loved his family, he would do anything he could for them and loved to spend time with them any chance he could. He will be dearly missed.
Lance is survived by his wife of 18 years Cheryl Ware, his mother Mary Love (John), his daughters Ashlyn (Jacob) Odom, Katlyn (John) Scott, his sister Angie (Carey) Autrey, his grandson Harlan Palmer, his nieces and nephews Quinn, Alyssa, and Cara Autrey and his two dogs Boss B Ware and Luna Bell Ware.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister Kelly Ware and his grandmother Madge Evans.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday September 6, 2024, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. till service time. Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Odom, John Scott, Joseph Neese, Quinn Autrey, Carey Autrey, Harlan Palmer, and AJ Plackard.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
