Jerry Glen Chaneyworth, 66, passed away September 5, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born December 16, 1957, in Lubbock, TX, to Eli and Sadie Lane Chaneyworth.
As long as he was able, Jerry enjoyed going fishing. He loved being around his family, especially his great grandkids.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; son Scotty Chaneyworth; grandson Curtis Chaneyworth; and three sisters JoAnn, Beverly, and Kathy.
He is survived by his children Jennifer Ross (Tommy) of Gillett, Kimberly Chaneyworth of DeWitt, Jerry Chaneyworth, Jr. of Wabbaseka, Debra Whitson (Chase) of Marvell, and Mallerie Chaneyworth of Alabama; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and his brother Floyd Chaneyworth (Marilyn) of Crocketts Bluff.
Visitation will be 1:00 September 9 at Essex Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 2:00. Burial will follow in Bayou Meto Cemetery.
