1933-2024
Gladys McDaniel Tucker, 90, of Sheridan, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 24, 2024. She was born December 10, 1933, in Greenville, Mississippi, to Albert Calhoun and Viola Brown McDaniel.
She graduated from Watson Chapel High School and attended UALR. She worked at the Grant County Library and was a member of Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church. She loved all of her family and enjoyed volunteering her time toward the Animal Rescue organizations in Grant County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gwen Dalton Tucker; her parents; seven siblings, and one grandson, Christopher Thomas Tucker.
Survivors include her sons, Dr. Randal Tucker of Hensley, Rodney Tucker (Natalie) of Medina, Tennessee; two grandchildren; Lauren Schoate (Christopher), Colton Tucker (Jennifer); three great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Anna, and Sadie.
Visitation will be Monday, 5 to 7 p.m., at Robinson’s. A graveside service by Ralph Robinson & Son will be Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., in Memorial Park Cemetery with Russell Steiner officiating.
