DeVonda Gaye “Sissy” Patrick Harvey, 59 of Star City, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born January 22, 1965 in Pine Bluff to Douglas and Mary Ann Rice Patrick. She was a member of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired dental assistant for Dr. Terri Eubanks. Sissy loved spending time with her grandchildren, enjoyed hunting and trips to the deer camp, loved going to the beach and spending time in the pool, and enjoyed working in her flower garden.
Survivors include her husband of 41 years, Shawn Harvey; parents, Doug and Mary Ann Patrick; 2 sons, Lance (Payton) Harvey and Drue (Lauren) Harvey; brother, Glenn (Connie) Patrick; 4 grandchildren, Christian Mac, Korbyn Mitchal, Shawn Mazie, and Colt Ridge; special niece, Brandi (Chance) Byerly; great nephew, Bryson Byerly, all of Star City; and many friends and loved ones.
Funeral services are 3:00PM Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Bro. Jackie Richardson officiating. Visitation is 1:00-3:00PM Sunday, August 25, 2024 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Butler/Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Star City. Pallbearers are Alan Peterson, Jake Carr, Ryan Mills, Zack House, Scott Senyard, Von Eubanks, Lance Harvey, Drue Harvey, Chance Byerly, Bryson Byerly, and Austin White.
