Betty Lou Gober, 72, died Monday, September 9, 2024, in White Hall, Arkansas after a long battle with cancer. She was born September 11, 1951, in Hutchinson, Kansas to Clarence and Lila Perdue. Betty was a devoted Christian and loved her family fiercely. She was a classic prankster, especially loving to embarrass her family. She was fond of late-night TV and long walks in Walmart, shopping for her grandchildren who called her Dadew, thanks to her oldest grandchild Morgan.
She is survived by her husband, Don Gober, her children Roy (Lisa) Gober and Rebecca (Bryan) Torres, six grandchildren, Morgan/Isaac (Feil), Aaron, Brooklyn, and Paxton (Torres), and Adeline (Gober) 2 great grandchildren, Ryker, and Wyatt (Feil), sisters Glenda Holt, Lori Chapman and a brother, James Perdue, along with beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers Charlie, Wesley, and Michael Perdue.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Victory Baptist Church, 2515 Ridgway Rd., Pine Bluff, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.
