1960-2024
Betty Jean Hall-Ross, of Stuttgart, was welcomed home by her Heavenly Father on July 26, 2024. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born on January 30, 1960 in Litte Rock, Arkansas to Alf and Martha Hall and was raised in Lookout, Arkansas.
Betty was united in holy matrimony to Gerome Ross on January 26, 1994, and to this union one child was born, Kenisha Ross.
She accepted Christ at an early age at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church in Lookout. She later joined New Bethel A.M.E. Church in Stuttgart, Arkansas, under the leadership of Reverend Napoleon Davis, Jr.
Betty was devoted to caring for the elderly in her community, while working for the Arkansas Department of Health for over twenty years. She also took pleasure in organizing events to spend quality time with her family. Betty loved to shop and generously gave to her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alf and Martha Hall, her husband Gerome Ross, and three brothers Kenneth Hall, Lee Von Hall, and Lee Don Hall.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory one son Kenzy Hall of Dallas, TX; daughters Keshia Hall of Benton, AR and Kenisha Ross (Donnie Dean) of Bentonville, AR; eleven grandchildren Keayra Hall, Kentrall Hall, Kristen Hall, Anastasia, Kaleb Hall, Kylee Smith, Kaylee Ross, Kayden Dean, Kiersten Dean, Donnie Dean, Jr., and Wesley Dean; one great grandchild Kyler Hall; a special nephew Andre Hall of Little Rock, AR; a Goddaughter Nate’ Wilson of St. Louis, MO; two sisters Arlene Johnson of Tulsa, OK and Crecie Hall of Stuttgart, AR; four brothers Charles Hall (Guianna) of Stuttgart, AR, John Allen Hall of Tulsa, OK, Tommy Hall (Malea) of Sperry, OK, and Al Hall of Stuttgart, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
