Charles Harper, a representative of Oasis Fresh Market was in Pine Bluff last week meeting with First Ward City Council Member LaTisha Brunson about locating an Oasis grocery store in the First Ward.
Harper, Brunson and Gloria Warren, another Oasis representative, were guests on the Oldies 1013 Morning Show and host Greg Horne asked Harper what their business has to do with Brunson and Pine Bluff.
He then went on to explain further.
Horne said the way he understood it, the for-profit grocery store like grocery stores all over the country but there is also a non-profit arm that basically gives stuff away.
Harper also confirmed that Oasis would be locating a store in Pine Bluff but neither he nor Brunson would identify the specific location for that store.
