Emergency personnel responded to a vehicle accident involving two Sheridan school buses and an SUV at approximately 8:55 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The accident was located on Highway 167 where the new bus barn is located.

It is reported that two buses were in the turning lane waiting to turn into the bus barn parking lot when an SUV crossed into the turning lane and struck the buses.

No injuries have been reported and no students were on either of the buses.

The Sheridan School District released the following statement regarding the accident:

SSD families: Two Sheridan School District buses were involved in an accident with another vehicle this morning just north of the bypass on HWY 167 North in Sheridan. There were no children on either bus. Drivers of both buses were abiding by all transportation regulations.
