Gary Williams was hired as the new White Hall Superintendent in January to fill the position left vacant when current Superintendent Doug Dorris announced his retirement earlier in the school year.

Williams, the current Superintendent at Crossett, has been traveling back and forth between the two towns as he begins his transition into the full time role at White Hall beginning on July 1.

He spoke with Deltaplex News recently to give his thoughts on the transition, saying that he has been impressed with the kindness of the people at White Hall so far.

Williams said he has been impressed with the community involvement he has seen so far.

Williams said one of his first orders of business as full time Superintendent will be to show his staff that he will support them.
