Governor Asa Hutchinson and the Arkansas Department of Human Services announced Wednesday that there is now a new helpline for Arkansans in crisis.
Arkansans in crisis can now dial 1-844-763-0198 Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. The challenge is to provide resources for those who need help with mental issues and addiction. Governor Hutchinson says the new helpline will easily connect Arkansas residents to DHS. It will also connect callers to additional resources.
