NASA’s Modern Figure Gives UAPB Spring Commencement Address

Pine Bluff, AR — Dr. Ruth D. Jones (’94), Associate Manager for the Human Exploration Development and Operations Office at NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, will deliver the keynote address at the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff’s 165th Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 7, 2022, a day after National Space Day.  With a Ph. D. in Physics, Dr. Jones is lauded as one of NASA’s Modern Figures.

The UAPB Spring Commencement ceremonies began at 9 am at Simmons Bank Field with a processional planned for 288 graduates, including 31 Master’s and 257 Bachelor’s degrees, and the commissioning of nine cadets at 8:45 am.
